February...

Just catching up on photos of the little (or shall I say, not-so-little) guy! He is talking more each day and getting busier and busier around the house and yard.

Rowan is fascinated watching Matt build fires. The minute Daddy shows any signs of building a fire, Rowan is there front and center to lend a hand. In fact, the other day, we walked in the living room to find a stack of wood on the coffe table...very subtle!

Rowan and Sadie continue to be best of friends. Honestly, the minute we say Sadie's name, Rowan practically goes into a panic until the moment he gets to see her...and what's really funny is that Rowan calls Sadie "Ro Ro". Actually, this is what Sadie calls Rowan - but for some reason, Rowan associates "Ro Ro" with Sadie and therefore thinks this is her name. Anyway, very confusing. But ridiculously cute. Almost as cute as them attempting to kiss, or "biss" as Rowan says. :)

It's hard to see here, but Rowan is using his whisk and bowl to make eggs (because in his world, this is the only thing you use a whisk for!). Why he decided to do this while wedged between the bureau and his toy kitchen is beyond us - but he was determined to do it his way.

Like father like son...Rowan LOVES tools, and he seems to understand exactly what drills are for...

Rowan is particularly interested in the condiment bottles that line the inside of our refrigerator door, and when the door is open long enough, he begins to carry them (one by one, mind you!) to various parts of the house - sometimes it's his high chair, or the bathroom, or the stairs. But in all cases, he stacks them in an organized little group, usually in a line...wonder where he gets this instinct from?? ;-)
