Gran Gran comes to Portland!

I'm embarrassed it has taken me this long to post these pictures, but alas, here they are! Gran Gran made a special visit to Portland in March - she took care of Rowan for a week while his daycare was on spring break. It was also Easter that week. And despite the awful weather, we had a fantastic visit. The day after Gran Gran left, Rowan summed up our feelings perfectly: "miss Gran Gran...on airplane...sad." We can't wait until she comes back!

The Easter Bunny came!

Rowan's first Peep...he was skeptical at first, but quickly warmed up quickly to the idea of yellow marshmallow bunnies. Who wouldn't?!

Wearing the adorable Easter overalls that Gran Gran made...

Kindel and her boys sent Rowan a singing Easter card which was by far his most prized object for the next month. Good one, Kindel!

Easter dinner was yummy - as evidenced by the green beans and mashed potatoes that Rowan is wearing...

Gran Gran bought Rowan a new baby doll, which we named baby Mudgie. Will this or will this not help Rowan get used to the idea of having a new baby in the house?? :)

LOVE Gran Gran...
